Prestons Lake is long-established and stocked with many species, plenty of which have grown to good sizes.

This is a stream-fed lake and the water quality is very good indeed. This encourages fish to grow to good sizes.

The lake is home to various species of carp, plus pike, tench, bream roach and perch as well as hybrids. There are many silver fish also in the lake.

Within the carp stocks are a batch bred by Mark Symonds which are fast-growing and expected to exceed 20lbs quickly.

Note that the Top End of the lake is designated a nature reserve. Fishing from this area is not permitted with automatic expulsion from the club if found doing so.

Prestons Lake requires membership and is open year-round with no closed season.
