Fishery Information

Speke Hall Dam is a lovely lake that’s is nestled inside a national trust estate. Its a great day to spend a peaceful days fishing. The lake itself is not that big as its only an acre and a half in size.

The fishing club that run the lake had not looked after the water in the past and because of that it had been vandalised and fallen into a bad state. The fishing club have now taken an interest in the lake after being told they needed to by the national trust. At the moment there are only 50 permits available, all of which have been taken up and there’s now a waiting list.

There are no day tickets available at this venue.

Fishing is here is hard as its not well stocked like a lot of commercials.

What size do the fish go to?

It is not known what size the fish go to, but there are carp, bream, roach, rudd and tench.

What facilities are on site?

With it being part of Speke Hall there is lots of facilities available nearby in the national trust site. There are toilets and places to buy food etc.
