Located in the metropolitan borough of Sefton, River Mersey offers amazing opportunities for anglers, whether it be fresh or salt water fishing. This water used to be known as one of the most polluted rivers in the UK, but that has all changed and it is now home to beautiful salmon, flounder, plaice, dab, sole, Conger eel, whiting, cod, rockling, smooth-hound and thornback ray.
