Fishery Information

Spring Water Lakes is located on twenty acres of a lovely South West Wales farmland, overlooking the Cambrian Mountains and four miles east of Lampeter, near Carmarthen. It has a magnificent fishing complex with five lakes. All the lakes are easily accessible to anglers with disabilities.

Fly Fishing Lake is home to tough Brown and Rainbow trout that go up to 8 pounds. It has a broad fly population, with species ranging from Buzzers to Damsels, as well as an abundance of Alder flies and Small white lures, all of which are excellent choices for fishing.

The coarse fishing lake is approximately 3 acres, with depths ranging from 3 to 8 feet. It contains a good mix of Crucian, Mirror, and Common Carp, as well as large Tench and Bream and a variety of other species such as Roach, Rudd, Golden Orfe, and Perch.

With depths ranging from 3 to 12 feet and a surface area of approximately 3 acres, the Specimen Fishing Lake is well stocked with Mirror and Common Carp, with some of the larger specimens reaching more than 35 pounds.

What size do the fish go to?

Carp can go to the excess of 35lb.
