Wynnstay Carp Fishery is set on the grounds of the renowned Wynnstay Hall, deep in the middle of pristine countryside, on the boundaries of Shropshire, Cheshire, and Clwyd. The surroundings provide a very calm and tranquil location for guests.

The fishery has a 10-acre lake, created roughly 230 years ago with a big island in the middle. It is a well-established high-quality carp lake with a reed lined shoreline ideal for experienced anglers.

They specialize in large carp (leather, mirror, and common), a few tench and bream. In the summer, the clay liner and average depth of six feet ensure a lot of warm water, which creates the ideal condition for growing large fish quickly. Only members are permitted to fish in the lake.
