Fishery Information

Set in a stunning countryside location near Stockerston, Leicestershire, Sweethedges Farm offers an excellent day’s sport to the dedicated Carp angler. The water spans approximately 2.5 acres and boasts a variety of fishing features such as reeds and mature trees.

There are over 24 available swims, several of which offer access to the disabled and elderly. Additionally, the venue is open year-round to both members and day ticket anglers. Tickets should be purchased from the site office.

As well as being a prime spot for fishing, the location also hosts several conservation sites, which are home to some spectacular wildlife.

Tench, Roach, Bream and Carp are just some of the fish species that the site has to offer.

What size do the fish go to?

Bream, Tench and Roach tend to weigh in between 2-8lsb. Carp are frequently recorded in double figures, with the largest fish exceeding 20lbs.

What tactics work well?

Using a feeder with maggots or worms is a popular choice among fishermen. Furthermore, it can be beneficial to utilise pellets and boilies during the warmer months.
