Fishery Information

Located in the beautiful, quiet, and remote countryside of Hampshire, Woodington Lakes is a family-run trout fishery. The fascinating fishery has developed into one of the top trout fisheries in Hampshire, within 36 acres of lovely forest and water meadows. It features three spring-fed lakes and waterways, in addition to 1666 yards of fishing on the Blackwater river, which is a tributary of the River Test.

The Leat is rather deep and has several very good hatches. The water in Kingfisher Lake is very clear, making it an excellent lake for stalking fish. This lake is good for less experienced anglers. Spring Lake is known for its crystal-clear water and its island, surrounded by several deep holes that are popular fishing spots.

The fishery is open 365 days a year and provides excellent opportunities for trout fishing. Rainbow trout, brown trout, and even blue trout are abundant in the three lakes. You might even get lucky and reel in some perch.
