Fishery Information
Located 1 mile outside the picturesque village of Thornton Hough, Yew Tree Fisheries was opened as a day ticket fishery in the summer of 2009. Created by an angler, this fishery consists of 2 well-established and stocked lakes.
The larger lake on site is approximately 1 acre is size and boasts 26 pegs with ample room for all types of fishing. This water is home to tench to 10 lbs, carp to 24 lbs, catfish to double figures, rudd, roach, skimmers, ide, barbel and bream to 7 lbs.
On the other hand, the smaller lake is approximately 1/4 acre in size and boasts 8 well-spaced pegs. It is home to carp to 10 lbs as well as the other species that are also present in the large lake.
Day tickets are available for this fishery.
