Fishery Information

Featuring three lakes in rural Berkshire, Court Farm Fishing Lakes have been operating for over 20 years as a coarse fishery.

This spot is a day ticket location, with passes available from the bank.

Anglers of all skill levels will find plenty to enjoy at Court Farm Fishing Lakes, as the ownership has paid special attention to the management and maintenance of their facilities.

The first lake is located 50 metres from the car park and noted for its population of carp, roach, perch, rudd, bream, and tench.

The second lake has level access and sits about 15 metres from parking. There are bigger challenges to be found in the second lake, but the fish are always biting and the action is always on-point.

The third lake is for those over 18 years of age only and works as a specimen lake.

What size do the fish go to?

Court Farm Fishing has all sizes of fish, with the first lake producing carp up to 20 pounds and tench up to four pounds.

30-pound carp are roaming around the second lake, with two-pound bream and rudd also populating the waters. Eight-pound tench can also be found here.

The third lake is home to the big ones, complete with 200 double-digit carp. The current record is 36 pounds, so keep those lines tight.

What tactics work well?

Method feeder float fishing is the best method for landing the best fish in the first lake, with all baits producing good results.

A pellet waggler and method feeder will do the trick in the second lake. Anglers would be well-served to try corn, pellets, bread, or prawns for bait here. Maggots and casters will dig out those silver fish.

Ledger or float fishing in the margins will turn up the specimens in the third lake at Court Farm. Bread, dog biscuits, meat, prawns, and corn turn up good results.

What facilities are on site?

An angling shop is located two miles away from Court Farm Fishing Lake. There are also some shops close by.

Is parking available?
