Moathouse Fisheries is a family-run business located on Moathouse Farm, on the outskirts of Burtonwood hamlet. It is a calm and relaxing environment on 250 acres of arable land.
Among the ponds on the farm are the Teal Pond with 27 pegs, the Mallard Pond with 21 pegs, and the Heron Pond with 21 pegs.
The ponds are easily accessible from the parking lots, and they boast a diverse range of fish species to appeal to both novice and experienced anglers. Only day fishing is permissible on the farm through advance booking.
There are over 3000 fish in each pond, with the most prevalent species being Chub, Common Carp, F1 Carp, Mirror Carp, Koi Carp, Crucian Carp, Ghost Carp, Ide, Orfe, Tench, Roach, Rudd, Skimmers, and Perch.
