Situated in a beautiful country setting near Scorton, Lancashire, Wyre Parks is a mixed fishery comprising of 3 lakes in total.

Quarry Lake is a day fishing site that contains a healthy stock of Carp. Day tickets start from £7, with additional rods costing an extra £4 each. Furthermore, the venue is very close to the main car park, making it perfect for the elderly and disabled angler.

Wharf lake is an ideal spot for coarse fishing, with a total of 20 pegs. The lake is well stocked, and the carefully landscaped surroundings are a hotspot for wildlife. As a result, anglers are guaranteed to enjoy a relaxing day’s fishing. Day tickets are available, and the waters can also be pre-booked for matches.

Match Lake is a healthily stocked venue with a total of 20 pegs. This spot is open for match fishing only and should be pre-booked with the management team.

What size do the fish go to?

The setting is renowned for its quality Carp fishing. The majority of Carp get into the double figures, with some hitting the 30lbs mark.

What tactics work well?

Using the feeder with sweetcorn or worms can be very successful in the warmer months. Anglers have also found that pellets and boilies are particularly effective in enticing larger Carp.

What facilities are on site?

Stepping Stones bar and restaurant is open Tuesday-Sunday and offers a wide selection of beverages, plus freshly cooked dinners and lunches. Each lake has on-site eco friendly toilet facilities.
