Decoy Lakes, located in Whittlesey, Peterborough, and widely regarded as one of the country’s premier coarse fishing destinations, provides everything a match or pleasure angler could possibly require. There are 274 pegs in total, which are spread across the 11 lakes listed below.

Beastie Lake is the oldest and largest lake in the complex, with a uniform five-foot depth across the entire body of water. It is well-known for the massive weights and large fish that it produces. There are thousands of F1s and a large number of carp weighing up to 21 pounds. The lake also has a healthy population of Tench, with the largest weighing 3lb 8oz.

DAMSON LAKE  is teeming with fish ranging in size from ounces to 24 pounds.

STOCK POND is teeming with fish, but there are no pegs and it is not open for fishing.

OAK AND YEW LAKES have a diverse population of fish and no pegs.

ELM – 24 PEGS and CEDAR LAKES – 26 PEGS are the two most popular choices. In the margins of the lakes, there are reeds, and there is a healthy stock of F1s, Barbel, and Carp to 6lb.

LOU’S LAKE is the shallowest lake at Decoy, and it 4.5 tons of fish, ensuring that anglers will have bites throughout the day. There are hundreds of Crucians and a large number of Carp, the largest of which is a 21lb.

THE WILLOW LAKE has Depths ranging between four and six feet. There are a lot of Carp and Ghosties, with some reaching 8 pounds. Willows also has a large number of F1s and hard fighting Barbel up to 4 pounds.

HORSESHOE LAKE  is home to some massive Carp weighing up to 20 pounds. There are also many smaller Carp available, which makes it possible to put on a lot of weight quickly.

FOUR ISLANDS LAKE  with only 10 pegs is a small club water but with a good number of bites thanks to a well-stocked population of F1s, Tench, Roach, and a few common Carp.

SIX ISLANDS has six islands, each of which includes a range of fantastic fish and natural features. The depths range from five feet in open water to less than a foot close to the island chain. There are more doubles in this lake than any other at the fishery, and the average stamp of the fish is close to 10lb,
